I’m so glad that I’m not the only one who feels like this sometimes!!! I was feeling so guilty about it!  Gotta love the hive!

I have a .7 in a halo setting.  I feel the same way.  It looked big to me and it sparlkes so much, but I have had the dainty comment and it looks cute.  I love it anyway and I do think it looks perfect on my hand.

Mine looks smaller when it gets dirty. Once it’s all cleaned up, it looks big again.

Haha, yep a common occurence know as shrinkage. I waiver sometimes my 1.5 ct is too small and other times I think it is obx.

I originally was hoping for a 1 karat ring but my fiance got me a .75.  I love the ring but definitely was hoping for something a little bigger.  He told me that if he had gotten the same quality diamond but in a 1 karat it would have been way over his price range. (He doesn’t know I was hoping for a 1 karat.)  Every time I start to have negative thoughts I just remember that he did his absolute best picking out this ring for me with what he could afford.  That helps!

Haha, I remember hearing about the “shrinking phenomenon” when I first got engaged. It’s true! It shrinks. Luckily, my diamond felt a little big so when it shrunk it made me more comfortable.

After first getting on the bee it seemed to shrink a little.  But then I realized there was no reason to compare mine to someting 2ct or more.  That wasn’t what I wanted.

I got exactly what I wanted!  Some days I think the round cut makes it seem smaller than it really is, other days I look at it and think holy hell that thing is huge.

I have been in the house a lot lately and I take it off to do things.  Since I have been wearing it less when I put it on my finger it seems huge.  I love when I clean the diamond off then its all sparkily and pretty!  I need to keep it clean more often.

I traded in my bigger stone for something smaller with better clairity and cut…I do miss the finger coverage and think the new one is small but the sparkles makes up for it most of the time….I still have moments though…
