    I love weddings!

    I want babies!

My SO rocks, I just wanna be with my SO forever!

The ring has been purchased! WHERE IS MY BLING!!

I do NOT want to deal with wedding drama. Being SOs is awesome.

I have acquired a furry distraction by the name of Milo that has helped me to not focus on waiting and wondering what his plans are. We picked up my new baby on Saturday and he is an adorable, fuzzy little troublemaker and I am so in love with him already!  I’m hoping it’ll be soon. By my calculations, maybe another month and a half?

Squirrelz15:  Thank you.  Sometimes it feels like we’re on same page, but then other times it’s like way far away.  He treats my teenagers like his own (well, he acts like one of them though), and anytime something is mentioned at work about outside plans, he’ll say he needs to ask the boss (me), and they’ll rib him and say that ain’t supposed to happen until we’re married.  Happened again today, actually.

I just don’t know.  He’s so confusing.  I thought we were supposed to be the confusing ones!

Miley3820:  Oh, I’m a planner when it comes to Disney!  Seriously, if you ever decided to go, and need help, I would be more than happy to help!  I’ve helped quite a few here at work plan.  They said I’ve missed my calling, but I just think it’s a fun distraction!

anniebean:  Maybe he is trying to throw you off. He sorta sounds like SO. Confusing as all heck. One minute its have kids in five years and next its 10. SO has a fear of not being prepared enough so I think thats his deal.

We’re going camping next weekend.  Have any of you ladies  gone primtive camping? We have our choice of a site with running water/toilets or no water and a vault toilet. I know for SO vault toilet isn’t a big deal, but I’m missing some parts here.Any advice? we aren’t veryexperienced at this.

MissZ31:  Nah, he’s not the type to throw me off. I had my Christmas present guessed a month before, and he never once tried to throw me.  He actually gave me glaring clues to guess it!  He can’t keep a secret.

No advice on camping, sorry.  I’m too spoiled to modern conveniences.

anniebean:  SO left my Christmas present on his desk that was clearly labeled for my car. So I wasn’t surprised when he gave it to me. I’m hoping for this once he’s keeping this a secret for you. That would be a memorable proposal.

I found out he’s talked to my dad already… Ahhh!!  How long typically do men wait before they propose after asking the dad?  I know it is different for everyone, but what do you all think is about average?  The soonest I see a proposal coming is the end of this month, and December at the latest, but that’s all I know for sure.  He’s already picked out my ring, but last time he went into details with me regarding this (about two weeks ago), he was waiting on his credit card to come in the mail before he could set up the payment plan with the jeweler.  Another question I have – if the ring is on a payment plan as it will be, I’m assuming he gets the ring after putting down a down payment…  Am I correct in saying that, or no?  Ahhh.. So excited but definitely need to SIU for the next few weeks 🙂
