grits75:  oh that is hilarious and awful at the same time! You’ll have to make sure he pays for it once he has proposed

grits75:  That is amazing. I am sure I would break the pact JUST to tease him mercilessly about that.

Or fake talking-in-my-sleep just to tease and mess with him back. I hope you take it humorously and light-heartedly … it’s pretty funny!! (And hey, shows he’s *really* thinking about it!)

RobynEileen:  A cruise sounds lovely! We aren’t taking a weeks hot-holiday this year due to finances, although I am leaning towards changing my mind and going later in the year I have to admit.

I did break this weekend and we talked about wedding food but he started it. We were talking about easter eggs and how they add fat to help them mould properly, then how chocolate fountains also had extra fat in (plus a high temperature). To which he decided that we should have a chocolate fountain at our wedding – but instead of chocolate and strawberries/marshmallows, we should have garlic butter and dough balls. I think his idea is much better even as a self confessed chocoholic :p

I think he might have bought the ring? He was complaining that his bank balance was rubbish when by my maths it ought to be looking good right now. We don’t have access to each others personal accounts (just a shared joint account) but I don’t want to KNOW anyway even if I could check. Boy am I going to be disappointed if the end of April goes by with no proposal!

I brole the pact last night and we argued about why he wasn’t proposing or discussion our plans. He did promise he will come back with some dates by 14th April. But he never talks about it. No ideas about what the venue is like, the colour etc. it is as if he just expects me to turn up on that day. Now I am not even sure I want to be with him anymore

blissout:  I’m sorry to hear that you feel that way. I’m sure it will all work out in the long run. I can certainly understand your frustration. I’ve had my moments where I questioned how serious he was about that level of commitment. Especially because of the old saying about why should the man buy the cow when he’s getting the milk for free. I even thought of going on strike where the bedroom is concerned. I’d last less time with that kind of shut it up than I am with the keeping quiet shut it up! And I’m going to end up having to take out a loan soon after the talks we’ve had regarding his talking in his sleep about the ring!
