LOL I looove nicknames. My bf’s name is Harold but when I met him he introduced himself as Byrd. I call him “byrder” I also call him “b-rad” because i think malibu’s most wanted is hilarious, he doesn’t like that so much 🙂 Sometimes if I’m feeling fancy I will call him “harry” in a fake british accent. And of course babe, plum, love, the usual.

He would DIE if he knew I told you guys this, but I call him TBLM, or Tender Butt Love Monkey. Don’t ask me where I got it from, because I have no idea. He is embarrassed by it, but still lets me call him it….in private of course! lol!! 🙂

We call each other face, stinky and butt. Mostly face though.

he calls me his “beyonce”, instead of fiance.. yes.

wow. these are so cute.
generally we call each other “babes”. but my husband has a background in science so i’ve heard it all from “apatasaurus babes” (because i have a long neck and a small head”) to “giraffe babes ” (same reason) to “hydrocephalic babes” (making fun of my ‘small’ brain) and “big eyed babes”. he’s even gone as far as calling me “ureter” babes (bad bathroom humor). ureters are what carry urine to your bladder.

@ mattel, I’m with a Jay too! He’s also an “Uncle Jay-Jay” to our neices and nephew. But VaJayJay — I just may have to use that one next time I’m mad at him!! LOL!
Hahahah @SugarSweet 🙂

I call him “gubbe” (gu-beh), which is a term of endearment, but also means old man in Swedish. Nerd, noob, nerdface is also thrown into our usual names for each other.
He also calls me sweetheart sometimes (which I love) and “gumman”, the matching term for gubbe, meaning both old woman and honey. It took me awhile to get used to the thought of that word, but I’ve really grown to like it.

I call him Babu. Like Babu from Seinfeld – “verrry verrry bad Jerry” *wagging finger*
No idea where that came from.
He just calls me baby.

I call him…
–> “Sparky” because he accidentally set my car on fire on Valentine’s Day one year (true story) and because I love How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days… he doesn’t know that part haha
–> “Hot Stuff” because he changed his name in my phone to that… haha… gotta love the boy.
He calls me…
–> Piglet (hence my username) that was from a time when he put BOTH feet in his mouth by accidentally calling me a “porker”…. I got really upset and he really genuinely did not mean that I was fat — he was trying to say I was cute. But he was so apologetic that I had to laugh and now the name stuck.
And we both call each other babe/baby… those are probably the most common.

I have weird nicknames for him that have evolved over time. Originally it was honey, which evolved into Unny, which evolved into Nunny. For some reason I also call him Pantsis. Some days he’s Nunny-no-pants. Why do men like to walk around with no pants on?! He’s also Handsome. or sometimes I just call him by his name, but mostly when I’m exasperated or trying to get his attention.
He calls me Beautiful, Hon, Babe. Not really creative but I like it. He barely ever refers to me by name or if he’s talking to his friends he just calls me V.

HAHA! What a great thread!!! 🙂
Nice to hear all the funny/cute/unique ways we refer to our SO’s..;) and sort of have a silimiar ‘Face’ type story like Lauren posted..haha.
A lot of times, my Fiance and I call each other just ‘hunny’…
then about a year or so ago, we started calling each other – ‘hunny bunny’
which then turned to ‘hunny bunny head’…which has most recently turned into ‘hun bun head’ or ‘hun head’. And in texts we even shorten it to ‘hh’ or ‘hbh’ 😉
haha. Don’t ask me how that happened, it just did. and I find it adorable! 🙂 Yeah, like Lauren…I wonder what people think sometimes to hear us say things like, ‘I love you hun head’ or “Talk to you later, hun head’.
I really find our little nicknames for one another so endearing and in some way I feel bonded even closer to my Fiance because of it. 🙂
Also..haha…as a ‘personal’ touch for our wedding theme…we’re using ‘bunnies’ as part of the theme/motif. 🙂
Anyway, YAY for this thread! Thanks for sharing and letting me share! 🙂
