- Wedding: June 2011
Once upon a time there was a bride that bought a gorgeous Reem Acra gown. Everything was a fairytale until her seamstress informed her that the gown could not be bustled due to its uniquely layered train.
Rather than look for a more reputable seamstress, the bride bought another gown for the reception. The reception gown was a sleek Amy Michelson with a small and flowing train.
One month before the wedding, the bride and her groom took dance lessons. What was orginially going to be a slow waltz was gradually transformed into an ambition dane with four lifts and a “death drop” dip finale.
Two days before the wedding, the bride decdied it would be a good idea to practice the dance in the reception gown. And she soon realized that it was impossible to do the lifts in a long gown. The next day (the day before the wedding) she ran out to buy a short cute white dress by BGB. And so, on the eve of her wedding she became the “three dress bride” – and her mother was rather horrified.
The wedding day came and each dress was perfect. The bride was happy, the guests were amused and perhaps confused, and they lived happily ever-after. (more or less)
