I asked myself that question a lot in the lead up to our wedding, I even priced up an elopement package at one point.

Focus on the bits you are looking forward to. Focus on the reasons you decided to have a family event instead of eloping. Remember your situation that led you to this decision. Remember it’s one day and as long as you’re married you’ve won. Finally, remember it will be over soon. From the other side, I’m not quite prepared to say it was worth it but I’m glad we did it.

This has been the running joke through the 2 years of planning our wedding…. we revisit the idea every month or so, even though we both know that at this point pretty much everythings paid off and there’s no backing out now ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have you planned your honeymoon yet? Whenever I find myself getting bogged down in planning stress, I find it helps to plan things for the honeymoon or revise our reigstry instead, since I find both planning vacations and online shopping to be relaxing hehe

Lately I’ve been going throug waves of stress related to coordinating all the vendors, setting timelines, and trying not to stress-eat my feelings haha… I’ll let you know how it’s all going in a month or so once we’ve crossed the long awaited 100-days-to-go mark! blahhhhhhhhhhhh

Omg. Every time we have to cut a check I joke that vegas is still an option and at least it’s warm there!  ๐Ÿ˜‚

soontobenoone :  month twins! You are definitely not alone in this! I find myself teetering between feeling excited and overwhelmed all the time. It helps me a lot to reach out to my girlfriends/bridesmaids for a quick chat. Playing catchup serves as a great distraction from the wedding craziness (I’m in NorCal while they’re all in LA and with crazy schedules all around I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like). And when the wedding talk inevitably comes up again, they’re always so excited and enthusiastic, it helps reengergize me.

And of course, you always have us here on the ‘bee too!
