I have my chest done, and 3 other visible ones. My mom and dad don’t really care. However, my grandma doesn’t know, so I will be covering them at the wedding.

hiya! When i was shopping for a dress I wanted something that had a full back becasue I didnt want anyone to see my back piece. Well everyplace i went called me crazy and didnt have anything like that (full straps full back liek tanktop style. So i have a one sholdered dress (that i dont love but looks good on me). And i plan on wearing a sweater with the dress ( i have about 3 i havent decided which one yet). I have ink on my ankles, chest and back and my parents do not know. It sounds crazy but i am afraid they would disown me.

I have several tattoos and I love each one.  They represent phases in my life and are important to me.  It seems silly to cover up what have become a part of me.

My mothers family frowns on tattoos but because it is our (my) day I will wear them proudly!

@Hiya_Unicorn:  Thanks!! While I am proud of my tattoos I chose to wear my hair down to kind of soften the area so it wasn’t the focal point, and it was a great decision! I have extensions in as well to help with length and fullness.

@TheJeanses2012:  Ooh I think we need to see full pics of this tattoo.  πŸ™‚

I have the same area as TheJeanses2012 covered as well as a big portion of my back, and I plan on wearing strapless.  I feel a little bit judged by my mother, and his parents, but hey, it’s my day, I love it, and it’ll just have to be that way.  πŸ™‚

I have both my arms done, my chest, and pieces on both my legs and I am wearing a short, strapless dress.  I love my tattoos and would feel weird covering them up.  My maid of honor and one of my bridesmaids are also heavily tattooed, as are the groomsmen (not that you’ll see theirs).  I say show them off if you love them! πŸ™‚

@Hiya_Unicorn:

You know, my tattoos have never defined my look. I am actually a soccer mom-ish type with a little bit of an understated edge, pretty average actually. I just happen to adore body art. I am a mom of a three year old, I own a house in the ‘burbs and I wear Sperry Topsiders when we sail! HAHAHA!! Anyway, long story short, your tattoos are yours and yours alone, and they don’t define you! I think you look amazing, and I think you can have a soft pretty wedding. All eyes will be on you πŸ™‚ I actually can’t wait to see you in your dress, keep me updated!

you all look beautiful!!!! My grandparents know about my tatoos.. or at least some of them and they are all fine with it.. i dont think my fater would care… but i think my stepmom would blow a gasket! My sisters know i have a few as well… i am waiting for one of them to get one and then i can “come out of the closet” and soften the blow for them πŸ™‚ I gues they will find out if they see the getting ready pictures! I am having my chest tatoos covered up (hopefully)

@TheJeanses2012:  πŸ™‚  Pretty!  I love the bright colors!

@Hiya_Unicorn:  Holy moly! I love the work on your left arm!  Very unique! And I don’t think you have anything to worry about.  you will look beautiful on your day, and I think a soft romantic look will be just perfect!
