Hi Bees. Just wanted to share a pic of our flower trial. All tables will be different as we’re using an eclectic mixture of vases and vintage books. The florist is calling me the texture queen. The second flower is a sample of the ones that will be bunched together to create our bouquets. Thanks for taking a look! 🙂

great choices! Celosia can come in some awesome colors by September – there’s one variety that is an irridescent pink w/some lime green -the orange variety can also be amazing too. I’m all for texture- the more the better- it photographs so much better than big blobs of white on white tablecloths. I really like brunnia balls but we couldn’t find any for my wedding due to mothers day. You’ve got great taste – can’t wait to see how it all comes together – looking forward to your recaps! 🙂

@sfchick: Thank you so much for your kind words! That totally made my day. And by the way, I’m in awe of how much you know about flowers. I’m definitely learning “on the job” as we plan.

@FutureMrsBondo: not sure if you are picking specific colors but I recently saw a wedding where bride had some of her pincushion proteas dyed hot pink. I know they come naturally in either orange or yellow but the pink dyed were really insane looking. For texture I also like strawflower and scabiosa pods (a bit trendy on the blogs w/succulents but who cares).
