Such BS.

If he’s doing it maliciously, that’d be a huge red flag for me. It’s sort of sadistic to eff with you like that.

If he’s doing it cause you guys are jokesters and you thought it was funny at first but now its pissing you off… Remind him that the little boy who cried wolf was very disappointed when the real thing came around. I assume he actually wants you to be excited and happy for the real proposal?? If he keeps pulling these jokes, you will likely just roll your eyes and get irritated when he does it for real. I’d find a nice way to remind him of that.

Yeah not funny, at all. And kind of ruining what will actually be such a romantic moment!?

And that is how arguements tend to start, never ends well. Especially when done several times over

Yea, sorry bee, not finding that funny at all. I actually got annoyed FOR you reading your post. He would have to stop that. No question. Its irritating and kinda childish of him. Hopefully he listens to you and apologizes for being unintentionally cruel. Good luck, Bee! 🙂

Didn’t Jim do this on The Office? Maybe he saw that and thinks it’s funny and cute. But yeah, no.

I picked my own ring out and Fiance was kinda sad about that becuase he thought it ruined the surprise, so he did this once or twice to mess with me, but that’s it. He actually proposed wayyy before I thought he would.

janeblack :  I think this is the best plan – and how I did it (so of course I am highly biased). I had her convinced it would be this fall – in fact I told her around her birthday in september, or our anniversary in october at the latest. Then did it in June. It allowed me to get the element of surprise in but without her thinking it will never happen, but in fact emphasizing another time so she wasn’t expecting it at all.

fromtxwithlove :  My dude just got really swept away in the moment (I think the fake proposing here didn’t help) once the ring was ready and couldn’t wait. He frequently complains about how he would have “done it better” so good to know you’ve got it all figured out, haha!
