You know, I was using Mucinex and preseed with my first baby – so maybe I should listen to you bees and myself and try that again next go round.

Will be trying this out this cycle! CD2 and should be ovulating next weekend-ish. Also, I read the article but want to make sure I’m taking Mucinex correctly, but I start taking on 5 days before I o and up until 2dpo correct? Want to make sure I’m doing it right!

trying softcups this cycle! it was recommended to me by my friend with 4 kids, so I thought she must be onto something there ๐Ÿ˜‰  I also added evening primrose oil and it made a BIG difference in the quality of my cm this month. I could actually tell what stage my cm was at. If using EPO and softcups dont work for me this month, I’ll do the trifecta listed and report back!

allsmiles92 :  Congrats bee!! I’ve been using soft cups but that hasn’t worked for me yet. However I have a short LP so I’ve been trying to get that up.

allsmiles92 :  Interesting read haha. But I didn’t do any of these and got my BFP first go! IUD was removed only 3 weeks prior to my BFP. I went a more natural route…

WHAT I did do though was start prenatals 2 months prior to TTC, my husband was also on a male fertility supplement called ‘Conceive Well’ which helps with sperm health and production. We also kept his nuts (lol) nice and cool and avoided hot baths etc . We both stopped doing high impact excercise and exchanged that with daily walks outdoors after work which helped to destress. Made a point of getting to bed earlier too. We pulled sugar and carbs from our diet and basically did high protein, loads of fruit and green leafy veg with yoghurts and good dairy/fats. NO Caffeine or alcohol (my husband was more chill on this but I did ZERO for about 8 weeks prior and during TTC). Basically only drank water – and lots of it for months! And obviously we don’t smoke, never have. I also did a daily self fertilily massage to help build my lining. It all worked beautifully.

Essentially we both just worked really hard to get as healthy as possible.

I got a STRONG BFP at 13DPO ๐Ÿ™‚

Alrighty! It ended up I needed to use Mucinex since I started to have slot of sinus pressure so I had to be on it during ovulation! ๐Ÿ˜‚ I ordered pre seed (which was uncomfortable the first time, it was really cold), I’ve been taking mucinex for a few days, temping, and testing two different OPKs to help track my fertility window. *fingers crossed* this works since today is a peak day, I will test again before bed and in the morning to see if tomorrow is still high.

allsmiles92 :  can I ask you all a dumb question – which way is the soft cup supposed to go if you are hoping to use it after BD to hold the sperm in? Are you supposed to put the rounded cupo part in first? I’m confused Bc if you do it the other way where the ring goes in first, wouldn’t the sperm just fall out into the cup the way menstrual blood would?

mrscorgi :  Added EPO two cycles ago, just bought softcups and preseed off Amazon. Cycle 5, I’m coming for you armed to the hilt.
