My fiance wants to wear a white tux. Does that mean I have to wear a white dress? I look much better in Ivory or Champagne.

Maybe if he can wear a vest and tie that matches the color of your dress, that would make it look intentional. 🙂
Can he get an ivory tux? Not sure if there is such a thing or not.
There is an ivory Tux! My hubby wore an ivory jacket with black tux pants.
I think you both will look fine no matter what color of white you wear.
My dress was ivory, and DH’s shirt was white. The ivory option looked really yellow to me.
@ORella2012: If by white tux he means the traditional “white” jacket and black pants option, you should consider that the traditional jacket for this look is actually ivory. (Like mwitter80 mentioned above) So he could have the ivory jacket and white shirt and you could wear whatever the heck you want.
If he’s considering white jacket and white pants, that’s not really traditional and then I’m of no help as that stuff’s completely off my radar. Also I just sorta feel that The Universe demands that you’re in the gleaming dress. If he’s gleaming white head-to-toe, that’s a bit too much scene-stealing if you ask me unless your both gleaming white head-to-toe. But ivory jacket, black pants, white shirt is awesome and traditionalist approved 🙂 You in Champaign and him in All White feels like a role reversal, but hey, you don’t have to accept the traditional roles if you don’t want to. Grandma will think it’s weird, but whatevs. 🙂
