This is too funny, Darling Husband and I were at a best buy this weekend debating this very thing. Of course he wants one. He was drooling over the little tiny LCD ones. (“It’s so small but the picture is so sharp!”) I actually don’t mind bedroom TVs, I used to have one and lurved it, but it is nice not having one at the moment. Our apartment is so tiny we can practically see the living room TV from our bedroom anyway, so it would be a little silly. But, when we move somewhere bigger, we’ll probably get one.

This is the long way of saying I chose “other.”

Our first apartment together was a studio. We had 1 tv. which could be seen from just about any area of the apartment.  When we moved into a bigger place we scavenged an old TV from his parents house because we were used to having one.  Often we will turn it on while getting ready for bed but once we are both lying down it is off.

We could live without it but see no point in getting rid of it.

We both are fine with TV in the bedroom.  Darling Husband needs some background noise to go to sleep to. Sometimes if I can’t sleep, I’ll turn on the TV until I get tired. Sometimes it is annoying to have it on when I’m trying to go to bed because I pay attention to what he has on.

What I don’t like is falling asleep to it and him forgetting to turn the sleep on.   I hate waking up to the TV on and all it is is infomercials.

We have a tv in our bedroom. mostly because that was what I was used to when we moved into together.  Fiance has only watched tv in bed with me once and only because I was sick.  And I only use it when Fiance is out of town for the weekend – sometimes it is nice to just veg out all day in bed watching girlie movies 🙂

We have one in there and both prefer it, but honestly we hardly use it… it is just nice when someone is sick or something.

We both prefer to have one in the bedroom but neither of us feels strongly about it. We have one in there now and honestly it is hardly used. Like maybe once/week max. I like it because I tend to let clean laundry pile up and then it takes an hour or so to fold it all and put it away and I like to watch tv while I do that. My husband likes it because sometimes if he goes to bed before me he likes to watch tv to fall asleep. And sometimes it is nice if we want to go to bed together but one of us isn’t tired– we can watch tv. Although that doesn’t happen all that often really.

When I moved in with Darling Husband I got rid of the TV in the bedroom for all kinds of reasons, but also stating I thought it would ruin are sex life.  2 years later Darling Husband asks for his birthday that we get a TV in the bedroom. So, I get him his request. One night we start making out (possible TMI) and he isn’t standing at attention if you know what I mean. I ask him whats wrong and he leans over and shuts the tv off. He then laughs and says he couldn’t pay attention. Who knew I was right all along!!! However, 6 months in and that’s really the only time it affected anything. Besides that it’s a nice convenience.

We have a television in the bedroom, but I didn’t have the cable connected to it. It’s only for when one of us is home sick and wants to watch a movie in bed or it’s a weekend night and one of us is having trouble falling asleep. I didn’t get the cable hooked up in there on purpose, so that we can’t veg out in the bedroom too much.

We both like having a TV in the bedroom. Occasionally when we need to recharge or refuel we snuggle into bed and watch a movie together. It’s nice though because sometimes I’m tired and he’s not so we’ll pop a movie in and I’ll watch a bit and fall asleep and he’ll finish up the movie. 🙂

We have a TV in the bedroom, but we rarely watch it. It’s pretty much just there if one of us is sick and don’t want to leave bed, then we’ll watch there. Or if he’s watching sports, sometimes I’ll go up to bed early to watch tv and lay down.

We have a TV in the bedroom. I used it more when I was in college and living in a house with roommates, but now we watch it occasionally. It doesn’t really get in the way and I like having it if I want to lay in bed and watch TV before I go to bed or before I get up in the morning.

Having a second tv (which is in our bedroom) is a MUST for us. My SO likes to play X-box, which is hooked up to the big tv in the living room. On days he plays video games, I don’t want to sit around and watch, so I watch tv or movies in our bedroom, where I can close the door and NOT hear shooting sounds from Call of Duty.

On the upside, he can NOT fall asleep with any sound, so we don’t watch it before bed, and thus still get our one on one time together.

We could not LIVE without a t.v. In the bedroom. My husband is a HUGE sports nut and the living room t.v. is “his” and the bedroom is “mine”. I have things TiVoing constantly and he’s not really allowed to watch anything in there and vice-versa ( I cannot STAND to watch t.v. in real time anyway). But I invite him in to watch our shared favorites. And everyone is happy.

And we like to have our sexy time each morning and then we might watch the news together after while he has coffee. Works out great:)
