We never really talked about it. We do have one in there, but I’d say in the two years living together we’ve used it about 4 times. Sometimes one of us will watch tv up there is we are really tired and want to lay somewhere quiet and watch tv but as an unspoken rule it doesn’t go on when we go to bed.

We have a TV in our bedroom and on days when we get to bed on time we watch an episode of supernatural off a dvd.  I really love this routine, it’s nice to chill and watch tv with Fiance after a long day ๐Ÿ™‚

And we couldn’t do it without a tv in the bedroom ๐Ÿ˜‰

There’s a study out there about how having a TV in your bedroom can cut your sex life in half.  After telling my Fiance about it, it was pretty easy to talk him out of having one in there. ๐Ÿ˜€

Neither of us want a tv in the bedroom. I agree with many PPs that the bedroom is a place for relaxation. But I think I may change my mind when we have kids one day.

I’ve always had a TV in the bedroom and I really love it. I’ll turn on the news in the morning while I get dressed and I’ll watch something off the DVR while I clean, change the sheets, put away laundry, etc. Also, while my husband’s in grad school, it’s nice to be able to run away to the bedroom and not disrupt his studies but still catch up on Grey’s Anatomy. I think part of it is we have his-and-her TVs but mine happens to be the little one in the bedroom.

Before we had central AC, we only had a portable AC in the bedroom. On the hottest weekends in the summer we’d hide in the bedroom and watch movies.

I used to love to watch TV until I passed out.  However when Darling Husband and I moved into a bedroom together it wasn’t big enough for a TV and we both found that we liked it that way.  Now that we have a room that IS big enough, we still have chosen to not have a TV in the room.  It’s a place for us to go and relax/read/snuggle/and other *erm* fun stuff.  ๐Ÿ˜€

We don’t have a TV in the bedroom and don’t want one.  But we cheat a little, because we don’t have cable and primarily watch TV shows and movies on our laptops.  Sometimes we’ll hook those up to the TV in the living room, when we watch stuff together, or Darling Husband uses that TV to play video games.  But otherwise, there are plenty of times we’ll both be in bed with our computers, watching stuff (with headphones), and then agree to turn them off and go to bed.  I don’t like using the bedroom as a TV-watching place, and especially if we were just flipping channels to whatever is on, as opposed to watching something specific.
