@ 7SEVENJ9- It is so hard to want to do it when you know what is coming. I guess i should do it tonight since I took a couple of days off. I am going to go to some workout classes with my mom this weekend and early next week. I only have 11 days left until the wedding. I am kicking it into high gear now. I know it is bad but I cannot wait to eat a piece of cake or drink a glass of wine without feeling guilty. I am not going to totally let myself go, but I am going to let myself enjoy life  a little and eat foods that are totally bad for me.

@7SEVENJ9: Sorry I am so late on this, but you look awesome!

I’m still so pissed I didn’t do before photos or measurements. I was away for a long weekend so I haven’t done any Jillian since Thursday so I’m expecting a good booty-kicking tonight! I tried running on the street for the first time in years and my calves and shins are not pleased. Also got some kayaking in, but there’s nothing like a Jillian workout!

Alright ladies… how are we all doing?  I basically took last week off due to a lot of work stuff and then being lazy.  🙂  Back on the wagon this morning.  Did Week 3, day 1.  Certainly brutal with some of the quad moves, but it felt like it went by faster than the other 2 weeks. I’m less than 3 weeks away from my wedding and I’m maintaining my weight, but I’d like just a couple more pounds/inches to melt away in the next 2 weeks.

@7SEVENJ9: Maintaining weight could either be a plateau or it could be your body’s way of telling you that this is the weight it wants to be… For your happiness, I hope it’s the first.  Maybe switch out of JM and try someone else for this week? JM basically does the same formula so your body may have gotten use to her 3-2-1 circuits. There’s actually some decent free workouts on hulu… I think there was a Denise Austin one that I did a while back and was like “this is lame” but was sore the next day!  🙂 Your goal is so close and I’m certain you’ll make it!  Just remember that you have to find a way maintain for your life rather than the yo-yoing that most of us do… 🙂

I don’t have a goal weight necessarily, I am just working on slowly but surely getting toner and slimmer.  I think my perception of myself and what I see in the mirror are finally equalling out, so that’s good.  Keep pressing on!!

I think I’m going to purchase this… or some kind of workout  video. I can’t run because I have terrible feet (played basketball in college & that’s all she wrote) so I need to find an alternative.

@thefuturemrs.o: If you have terrible feet, you might have a hard time with some of her moves.  She does do quite a bit of jumping and running for cardio intervals.  I have terrible legs and I just modify when I need to… I won’t jump, just step, etc.  Also, her cool downs are terrible (in my opinion), so just make sure you stretch your feet/calves in whatever way works for you to keep from getting injured!

@7: shorter and cheaper than P90X? Awesome.  I did p90x a while back and got SOOO bored.  And totally annoyed that you need a full weight room in your house to be successful.  I even took my computer to my apt complex’s gym just so I could use different weights, but felt silly lifting weights looking at my computer when some big buffed up guy came in and gave me once over. I just didn’t find p90x to be really at-home friendly (for me) unless you have a full gym set up… a pull up bar, 3-5 different weights, etc.  I hope Supreme is better!  And give yourself a break: you’re back on the wagon.  Moderation in all things– including moderation!  Enjoy your life– what’s the point of being thin if you’re denying yourself the pleasure of life!

@Mrs. Guinness:Agreed.  First time my muscles are sore from working out rather than having horrific IT band issues and forgetting to do my own stretch post JM.  But man oh man it feels good!  Keep up the good work!
