Does DOOM mean something?  It doesn’t make sense to me.

@snobunny: That’s funny! Just curious, where’d you find that? An article or something?

I totally got DOOM’ed haha. Before we got engaged, we had a lonnnggg talk. Not really ultimatum-esque, just, well- a talk haha.

Then, he delivered the DOOM.. Luckily, we got engaged shortly after, so it was probably just an excuse to get me to stop thinking about it constantly.

I don’t think it’s mean at all, though. It’s a realistic reason to wait and hold off on the engagement (like the article says, in an unreasonable timeline.)

whoa, yeah, that DOOM stuff is not cool. It’s just basically stringing someone along, but wrapped up in a nice acronym

@Wonderwoman217:

Well to be fair it does say to use DOOM only if you’re not sure and the woman has given an ultimatum in an unreasonable time frame. If the woman is being unreasonable I don’t think it’s all that terrible to give yourself more time without telling her that you’re not sure about her personally.

Whoa, looks like the majority of guys our more frustrated Waiting Bees post about have studied the DOOM technique.

This is funny and sad all at once!
