The boys will be boys argument is a cop-out in my mind.

@badabing88:  My suggestion would be to start with the letter. Give it to him and give him a day to mull it over. Then you sit down and discuss it. If he has questions about boundaries for jokes or wants to ask you for more in-depth reasons.

Totally rude.  That would be the last text like that from me.  Unless he just normally has a terrible sense of humor.

@badabing88:  I don’t get how it’s funny either. Just excusing bad boy behavior as boys being boys doesn’t work for me. If my Fiance offends me, I tell him. Then he stops, never to repeat the same mistake again (usually). It’s very rare that he does silly boy things to begin with, and he sure knows better than to make any body *jokes*

When you’re trying to be sexy and playful, it’s really not an appropriate response (especially when he knows it bothers you). I’m being a bit of a bitch, but the only thing that’s coming to my head right now is that the next time you see his erect penis, you should squint and lean closer then say, well, at least I know it’s yours. Sorry. Don’t do that. It’s juvenile. But I still laughed, lol.

Now, I may be wrong but I think I remember a post where you said that you two are working on intimacy issues? I would say this behaviour is completely not helpful. Sometimes you do need to turn the tables for them to actually get the impact of their words.
