I plan to wear a single tier veil, and it will not cover my face when I walk down the aisle.  I want to see everyone and let them see me.  ๐Ÿ™‚ Also, I think it will look better in pictures that way. 0:-)  Plus, we’ll already have seen each other before the wedding to do pictures while the sun is still up.

I’m wearing a single tier, and I don’t plan to do a “shy veil” or “blusher” or whatever the other names are for covering your face. I think this has been a big tradition that is falling more to the way-side through the years. I like the idea of it, but in the end I know I don’t want to do it.

I think it’s more of a personal choice.

I’m wearing a single tier church length veil (in between chapel and cathedral) with no blusher in front of my face. It will hang from the middle of the back of my head down…

I love veils! So romantic. I think it is increasingly uncommon to wear a veil in front of the face.

I don’t even want to wear mine. It’s more for my mothers sake. I’ll wear it for the ceremony and take it off for the reception.

Wearing a veil was very important to my mom. She said that the veil is “what makes the bride”, so I’ve got to wear a veil at least for my mom. ๐Ÿ™‚

I didn’t shop around too much looking for a veil, I pretty much just went with the first one they plopped on my head at the bridal salon, but even this one made my mom start crying.

I do plan on wearing it over my face as I come down the aisle:

And I guess you could still my face pretty well through it. I think it’ll work out just fine.
