Can they be ushers or junior groomsmen?  I’m not sure how long your aisle is, but a switch might be weird?

The switch would be fine if that’s how you want to do it, especially if you’ve already asked your brothers to do it. I do also like the idea of ushes tho

I think you should have your brothers walk you down the aisle, if that’s who you feel is appropriate to walk you down.  Then that decision should be yours to make. If you wanted both dads instead you could ask the boys to fluff your train behind you and then they could stand on each side at the top of the aisle at the ends of the wedding party – one on each side.  So they are still in the front of the ceremony and feel important. =)
