It’s been so awful this summer in the NYC area… tons of rain. And in June too! It’s supposed to be warm and sunny, but it’s actually the second coldest June on record.
I was thinking: this rain must have affected so many June weddings!! I feel awful for those brides and grooms… drizzle drizzle, ugh.
Anyone here worried that the weather won’t clear up in time for your wedding day?

My wedding is over and we were spared the rain, but I hear ya on this NYC weather! Ugh! Raining right now… It’s just rain rain rain. My former boss from the UK said NYC is starting to seem like London with all the rain it’s getting. Not just rain even, but it’s hardly broke 80 at all yet! Does this mean we’ll be in for a later winter? I only hope so…

Argh, rainy in Philly, too, Mr. Bee!
I’m trying to stay calm by rationalizing that there’s an average rainfall every year — and maybe we’re just getting the bulk of our summer rain on the front end?
But yeah, I feel badly for June brides too, since it’s been so unpredictable — everything from drizzles to giant raindrops with the sun still out to fully-fledged thunderstorms (just had one of those about an hour ago).
We’re going to order some cute umbrellas a few weeks before the wedding, and mail them back to the company if the forecast gives us the all clear a few days before the wedding.
