Is anyone worried about the weather!? Ok, I live in New England and my wedding is a the end of September, OUTSIDE! (this was not exactly my choice!) I don’t know if you have ever been to New England but it can be cold but it could also be 80 degrees. We are having our ceremony and reception at the same place and can be accomodated easily inside. Wonder if it rains during the ceremony? Wonder if it is windy? My brother got married outside at the end of September (here in NE too!) and I was freezing.. I think it was 50 degrees that day. My Fiance thinks I am crazy. I just know every event that I have ever planned to be outside – showers, picnics, birthdays ~ IT HAS POURED! I am not just saying that to get sympathy, it really does rain on my events! I am just envisioning the worst weather possible…HELP!!

try to think positive…I’m having my wedding outdoors in the middle of June in OHIO…if you don’t know much about Ohio, let me tell you, it could be 90 degrees, it could be 60 degrees, it could be rainy or there could be way too much sun (that’s actually an issue since the venue is out in the open with no shade, etc) I’m a bit worried too about that, but our reception space is at the same place and could easily be used for the ceremony at the last minute if need be. The truth is, you can’t predict the weather (at least, not until a day or two before hand!) so there is no use getting upset about it now….plan for the worst, hope for the best!!

We had our wedding outdoors at the end of June, so we were extremely worried, too, because you can’t play God and guarantee that there will be no rain, although that would be awesome! 😉 I would recommend having some sort of “plan B” in case it does rain. We lucked out and it was a beautiful day, but we bought umbrellas at the Dollar Tree and had them ready in case of rain. To save $$, we bought one for every two people, so it was only about $75 and gave us piece of mind!
