Hello brides to be…
My name is DJ Celeste, I’m a professional female DJ who recently got engaged myself!!! I have DJ’d over 80 weddings in California, and have been secretly thinking for years – “When am I going to get to do this MYSELF?”
I keep telling my fiance how IMPORTANT it is for us to have a kick ass sound system and DJ for OUR wedding (he only seems concerned about the food?) – of course I have a few DJ / MC friends in mind already for the job which will be in the Marin/Sonoma/Napa areas in Summer/Fall of 2013. We’re still planning now…
But, since I DJ weddings for a living and I work with couples all the time – I recently started a helpful blog with info that couples and event planners should know before shopping for a wedding DJ. This blog includes tips, describes the real role of a wedding DJ and also includes helpful questions to ask during an interview.
Please feel free to read my DJ Insider Tips blog…

Congrats! I do agree that food is important.. you don’t want a beautiful wedding and some gross food! Ick! And you want your guests to swoon over the meal [if you can afford it, anyway]. Good luck finding a great dj!
