If you try to choose an ER based on outfits, you will never be happy. An ER is not intended to “match” everything. Instead, it becomes part of you so that you never even consider whether it “goes” with anything else. For example, do you try to match your eye colour to every outfit?

I wear almost exclusively cool tones (black, blue, grey, white, etc.) and I wear YG in almost all my jewelry, including my ER. It never occurred to me whether my ER would match my clothing!

I don’t think any specific metal is too flashy. That depends on the stones and style of the ring! I like yellow and white metals but not rose… I find it trendy and yucky.

My yellow gold Ering goes well with every color, i chose it because its warm toned but will not need re-dipping like white or rose gold.

I mainly wear silver ,However when it came to my ring I really wanted yellow gold even if I wore silver. You may think it does not go with anything mainly because your not used to it.

I think if you always wanted yellow gold stick with that because you may always wish you had got that when you get something else.

I love white gold to but to me I wanted my engagment ring and wedding ring to stand out more. And honstly I think you just need to get used to it because it does work with everything. And still wear sivler things as well. If fact I was given a promise ring and it is silver and still looks good.
