I REALLY love the tall ones!  They are fantastic!  The short ones I’m not so sure of yet. I feel like they still need something.  Maybe it’s just that since they are shorter, it looks like there’s way too many candles around them?  I would play around with the shorter ones a bit more and see what you can do with them.  Great start though!

I know what it is!  I also very much prefer how the calla lilies are submerged in the taller centerpiece over the way they are protruding from the vases in the shorter centerpiece.  Not sure what to do about that, but I think that must be what it is!  The submerged look just looks so much more elegant.

That looks great. We are also having film incorporated into our reception! One thing that we are adding, that you may want to as well, are old film reels for each table. I’m either purchasing some small ones and putting them on their side and placeing tealights on top, or larger ones and having them stand up straight with our table name pinned onto them.

Just a thought, but it looks great so far!

I like the tall vase! Its beautiful, and very creative with using old movies as your table names!

@nicolethegrrr8: I’m still looking for some and you’re right it’s a bit of a challenge. Ebay looks like they sell of bunch of different sizes. There’s also a place called reeldecor that sells a bunch of film reels for different things online. Like there is a film reel that is also a wine rack or a film reel table. These are a bit expensive but they still sell just regular film reels as well.

If you find any other places, I’d love to hear it!

I haven’t spent too much time looking around for the reels yet, but also plan to include them in the decor for my wedding.  Our ceremony will be like a Movie Premier and the reception, and Awards Dinner…  I found reels of different sizes and colors at http://www.hollywoodmegastore.com   As I said…I haven’t done much looking for reels yet, so I don’t know what you have already found for prices or what you consider affordable…but here you go anyhow ๐Ÿ™‚  Check under hollywood decor & Film accessories…
