I’m actually a December 2013 bride (not by choice, but the venue we want is completely booked for 2012), but I figured you ladied wouldn’t mind if I joined you π
I’m really struggling with colors and a theme for my late December wedding?
What are your colors, and what is your theme?

I haven’t finalized my colors yet- either Sapphaire blue, white and silver or Sapphaire blue, light blue and white.
Our theme is cheesy- Sapphaires in the snow, Sapphaire is our son’s birthstone and winter was the season my fiance proposed in. You have plenty of time to come up with a theme/colors- so just wait for something to “grow” on you.

What does your venue look like?
We were married December1st last year, and our colors were Pink and Ivory. I know pink isn’t a traditional color for December, but it seemed to work, because of where we got married. We decided to let our theme be our location, which was at a B&B in Savannah GA.

My theme is a rustic glam winter wonderland! I’m really excited about it and after showing my mom the inspiration she is finally on board and accepts a Dec. wedding does not have to be about red and green I don’t really believe in wedding colors, but I keep picking up paint chips and fabric swatching of various metallics and the Fiance loves grey so those will probably be it – with a bit of evergroom garland for good x-masy measure.

My wedding colors are brown, burgundy, and ivory! My venue is a rustic inn and it gets all Christmased out so most of the decorations are already covered! My dad grows plants for a living so he is going to be supplying all the Poinsettias! White Christmas lights are a must also even though it’s going to be after Christmas! π

I’m getting married on New Year’s Eve (12/31/12). I chose jewel tone colors (plum, peacock blue, emerald, fuschia) with an accent of silver! You should check to see if your venue will be decorated for Christmas! That might help with your theme!

I don’t have a theme, but my colors are going to be red, green, gold and charcoal. I’m definitely going the Christmas Route.

My wedding colors are red and gold. I’m not doing quite a Christmas theme, but it was inspired by this photo, actually!

Our colors are white, silver and red/burgundy. We are going to do mostly white and silver, with some touches of red; aiming for a wintery theme with some Christmas feel thrown in. π

Cranberry, Charcoal Grey, Ivory. I think there’l end up being various shades of gray for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. Cranberry accents, centerpieces. I don’t want any stark white. I think I’m going for either rustic or vintage, sometimes it’s hard to tell. On one hand, I love mason jars, on the other hand I want some of the classic elements (Christmas tree with popcorn and cranberries). Things are slowly coming together, now I just need the ring

Our theme is winter wonderland. The day we went to see the venue that was the theme for the wedding that was going to happen that day and we just fell in love! They had blue uplighting so I plan to add blue to the wedding.
