    That’s super cute!

If my best friend had been able to make it to the wedding, we would’ve had one ‘regular’ cake and one that looks like a Tardis from Fiance & I’s favorite show, Doctor Who.

Sadly.. it didn’t happen, but it would have been SO. MUCH. FUN!

I had a traditional wedding cake for me, and I surprised my groom with a groom’s cake. The wedding cake was so “me”, and the groom’s cake was all about him. He loved it! We received a ton of rave reviews on both cakes.

I love this! I say go with it….make your wedding rememberable! Its always fun to have little surprises at the wedding….keeps the guest excited and WOWed!  Besides its your wedding and its should be your choice and all about what you share with your future hubby!

I plan on having my cake completly designed aroudn the topper I have chosen so it will be for sure themed and look nothing like a “normal” wedding cake. So I say go for what makes you and your Fiance happy.

How did I miss this post?  My husband and I had a themed wedding cake.  ๐Ÿ™‚  We play a game called EVE online (met through it) and wanted to have a shout out to our beginnings in our wedding.  We did that through our cake:

Our wedding cake will be fairly traditional, but our groom’s cake is going to be a massive d20 on a Dungeons & Dragons grid with minis spread across it.  I LOVE your idea.

@Goldie19:  hehe yeah I can get that.  Budgets are tough on the fun things aren’t they?  My venue allowed us our own caterer and baker, so I was able to get this within budget.  ๐Ÿ™‚  We loved it!

You can always do that cake for an anniversary!!  ๐Ÿ˜€
