Ok Bees I need some help.
We are wanting to do our ceremony and reception outside under the stars. Due to having to keep cost down (low) we want to do a picnic/bbq for the meal.
I am looking for some inspirational pics and ideas of things that would work for a “Picnic under the Stars”.
Any help that you give is greatly appreciated!

I hope this doesn’t sound too cheesy but when I think of this I think of that last moment in the movie “The Wedding Planner” haahaahaa
This sounds lovely – – I am seeing hay bales as benches to wooden picnic tables. I am thinking mason jars w/ soft simple flowers, reminiscent of Mrs Cowboy Boots decor… I am seeing drinks served in these large jars…I see strands of mini white lights like Mrs Espresso had here….
I see a ton of other things… I hope this helps a little bit. A picnic wedding under the stars in Upstate NY is absolutely dreamy, it will for sure be magical

I love this idea. I would literally have stars on the invitations in the bouquets and centerpieces in silver and or gold or whatever your wedding color is. you could make stars yourself. For bouquts/centerpieces you could use rosemary and lavander which are cheap pretty and smell good. I once helped plan an at home picinic style wedding and i did the centerpieces. I went to this lady who has a garden and bought $100 worth of flowers. That made all the centerpieces and the bouquets. lavander was scattered down the aisle and everyone sat on hay bales. And sparklers are a must. Fireworks if your county allows it.

For some reason, I picture in the woods with tons of fairy lights and things hanging from the trees. Very Midsummer Night’s Dream.
