- Wedding: May 2015
My fiance and I got engaged over the summer in Williamsburg and I have been searching for a way to describe what we wanted for our wedding theme…. The “theme” I have decided on is a “Lauren & Adam in Love” themed wedding because obviously our wedding is about the two of us. Our colors are blue & champagne with touches of silver, white, black…. which every time I try to explain this people tell me i have “too many” colors… but back to my point… I was thinking of incorporating Williamsburg into our reception. I hate the idea of table # so I was thinking of using different points in colonial village as the table names. We found collector’s williamsburg tumber glasses at a garage sale (set of 4) that we were going to use as candle holders on the table with the guest book. But other than that…. I don’t really know how to incorporate Williamsburg into our wedding… without it being over the top and citchy like a middle school diarama…. any advice? Should I go in another direction? We are having our wedding Labor Day weekend of 2014 although we havent booked a venue we are considering the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel….
