@Macintosh: I am so glad to see your update. I am also glad to see that your family made it to be by your side, and I hope that they will be able to give you the physical comfort (like hugs and a shoulder to cry on) that we on WB can not. Please keep sending us updates when you get the chance, and don’t forget to take care of yourself. Do something small that will make you feel better, like paint your nails a fun color or something. Try to stay postive. I can’t even begin to imagine how hard this is for you, and if you need anything, please don’t hesitate to PM me. Sending more postive thoughts your way!

hi ‘Macintosh’, thank you for taking the time to post the update. and thanks for sharing your ‘real’ name so that we can all pray for you and for Justin more personally. You will definitely be in my prayers and the prayers of my church family. I truly wish there was something that someone could do to make it all better. I just pray that God will be with you, giving you comfort and hope. (I don’t even know if you believe in God, but I hope you don’t mind us making reference to him!)
One of my dear friends lost her husband of 11 months, several years ago. He was 34. I couldn’t imagine her grief then and I can’t imagine yours now. The only reason I mention it, is to say that it was amazing seeing her find strength for the journey that I don’t think she even knew she had. And if the worst should happen in your situation, I will be praying for that same strength for you. Hang in there Kim.

I cannot imagine what you are going through. I am so sorry. We’ll all take this as a reminder to be a little more careful on the roads, for our own sakes, and the sake of others in cars, on foot, on bicycle, on motorcycles…. I hope you have the support around you that you need in a time like this.

@Macintosh: I will keep you both in my prayers

God…. oh my god I am so, so sorry. This is just horrible. My worst nightmare. I will keep hope in my heart for you that he will open his eyes and see you at least once more. I hope you at least get that, if not much more. I have never been very good at knowing what to say in these kinds of situations, but please know that my heart is very much with you. I am in tears for you. I wish I could take your pain away.

My SO’s father had a similar accident years ago, doctors told them he would not live, by a miracle he survived and is healthy. I’m praying for the same for Justin.
lots of love prayers, and virtual hugs sent your way. Miracles happen everyday, believe.
