Hi DIY bees! I’m planning on doing my own invites, and am trying to decide between printing them myself and going to a printer.
I’m really in love with thermography, but am wondering if anyone knows what the difference is in price between flat printing and thermography? I know print stores like Kinkos don’t do it, so I’d have to go to an independent printer, has anyone had any luck with this? TIA!

Check out http://www.eweddings.com. Depending on what you’re looking for, you might have some — reasonably priced! — success there. We’re not doing anything too involved and were able to price out a full suite (invite, info, rsvp, and thank you cards…all with printed envelopes and an inner envelope on the invite) for under $3.50 a suite. They send free samples and the quality is extremely good, imo, given the price!
Also, be sure to sign up for their e-mail list…lots of discounts to be had that could bring your price down even further. Hope that helps!
