I got a brand new cell phone and our pit bull puppy chewed right through it. We also had a couch torn apart by two of our dogs. Fun times.

@givemecouture:  My dog Sophie (who is a pom mix) has ruined many shoes of mine. Mainly cheap flip flops, thank goodness! Mainly she is a paper shredder. (Paper towels, toilet paper.)

Molly is our newest addition. We got her at 12 weeks, she is 16 weeks now. (Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix.) She is teething, so. lol She has chewed two small holes in our couch, that is new. We just bought it last year, so its roughly a year old.

Also my baby sister stayed the weekend with me, and Molly chewed through her laptop charger. She has snatched up my shoes a few times, but in enough time for me to save them! lol

I am really good at keeping lots of chew toys all through out the living room to keep her plenty busy now. haha

Ack, I’m sorry that happened:(! Years ago my then-bf’s dog ruined my new work shoes that I had only worn once. I was so upset and my bf didn’t even offer to replace them. So I can understand how upsetting it can be.

When my dog was still a puppy, he chewed on everything! He chewed up a pair of high heels, several books and cardboard boxes (usually ones that still had stuff in them). He also liked to chew the molding at the bottom of the wall and the window sill. It took several months to train him to only chew his bones and toys.

We went through a really big chewing phase with our lab mix where she ate DH’s blackberry, the carpet (in two places), the baseboards, the legs of our dining room chairs, a pair of flip-flops, a pillow, a couple of blankets, her bed ….

Yeah – glad that phase is done with. πŸ™‚

Our two dogs haven’t ruined anything too major. The only thing that I was really upset about was a purse of mine. When we first brought our pug to live w/ us (he had been living w/ me before I moved in) he occasionally marked territory. Then if he wasn’t taken out often enough, he would have accidents. He peed on my purse when we were um, having some alone time. That was his way of letting us know he does NOT like being kicked out of teh bedroom! I tried to get it out, and it no longer smells but it’s stained a little (it’s olive green leather so it’s not really bad looking).

Oh no! My dog ate my shoe once. He also had a thing for my room mate’s underwear. Embarrassing!

4 pair of good shoes, 2 flipflops, 4 or 5 electrical cords, a ton of plastic, and the case to our tablet. Fortunately he only left a few teeth marks on the tablet itself, or we would have a dead puppy.

I don’t have a dog, but I have a rabbit and she’s chewed through the cord for DH’s XBOX360, out notches in several of the baseboards, left toothmarks on the coffee table and sofa legs, and even ate the toes off of a pair of leather boots that my mum brought back for me from Spain (I’m not sure she knows what “herbivore” means).

My dog ate my sheet music when she was a baby! My piano teacher thought I was making excuses why I couldn’t practice until I showed her the evidence, my dog chewed off 3 pages πŸ™‚ Shoes have always been safe with her for some reason though – probably because she’s a girl! πŸ™‚

My meow machine jumped on a table pushing an antique from the 60s glass platter off. We had just gotten it from an estate sale for cheap, and I liked it but luckily I didnt LOVE it, I loved the other pieces in the lot we got though.
