I feel like that’s something that I’d have to keep reminding them about, like oh tomorrow I’m doing the contract for the hair/makeup. Ok, so last weekend I did the contract for the hair/makeup, have you guys thought of how exactly you want them to do it?

I feel like that is the best way! But not sure if you mentioned it a lot, maybe they forgot… but I would be frustrated too, now you’re paying for nothing 🙁

I’m NOT paying for my BMs to have their hair and makeup done and after all the other stuff the bride is paying for,  I don’t think that should be one of them.  I definitely say ask someone else if they want to get it done for half the price so that you can recoup some of that money!

Checkyour contract, do you really have to pay full price to cancel service? Usually you just lose a deposit. Ask them to cover only what you lost out money wise. If the refuse your shit out of luck to be honest…

To be honest, you signed the contract which makes you liable for the appointments. It sucks that they are backing out. If you have any kind of relationship with the hair salon, I would call them ASAP and ask what they can do for you. Maybe they can re-book the appointments and free you of the fee. Maybe there is a cancellation possible up until a week before or something like hotels offer a cancel policy?

You should have had them sign the contract…You can’t very well force them can you?

If you made it clear to them that it was optional and they would be paying for the service, I disagree with other Bees that say you should have been the one to pay. If you were expecting them to get their hair done, then yeah, you needed to pay…

Unfortunately, you are the one that signed the contract so you are responsible for paying. You could talk to the girls about the fact that it’s going to be a big strain on you and you would appreciate if they could at least pay for part of it, but otherwise you are responsible… I know it sucks! :/
