My husband vehemently hated cats before we got married. Bitched and moaned and whined to high heaven about living with me and my two cats (that i got before we got married). Low and behold, who do I see snuggling on the kitties? Him. But mine are still momma’s boys all the way. Probably cuz i let them hang out with me while i’m in the bathroom and Darling Husband doesn’t  Tongue out

    But yes, they soooo lie.

My husband swore UP and DOWN that he never wanted a cat.  I love cats, so I finally convinced him to let us get one once we moved in together (about 3 years ago).

Dude is OBSESSED with our cat.  We now have two, and they’re his background on his computer at work AND the background on his phone.  Sadly, I’m not even kidding.  To top it off, they like him more than me!  It’s hilarious… and definitely not a secret!

My partner LOVES cats. Always has. He always says he is a cat person rather than a dog person (even though he will pick up our 65lb pup and hug her furiously), I think he’s just a pet lover in general 😉

Me however, cat person all the way. I like dogs, but I LOVE cats.

My fiance is alergic.  I like them when they’re other people’s cats, but don’t want one in my house.  I’m a dog person.  I have one and fiance has one, so now WE have two.  I love them both, though I love my girl most…but the little guy is really growing on me.  I imagine someday I’ll love them equally.

My husband is way more of a cat person than me. Why do you think guys don’t like cats? I prefer dogs, hands down. Our cat is pretty great though (my husband had him before we dated). He’s the most dog-like/cuddly cat i’ve ever met!

Both Darling Husband and I used to hate cats but then one day we found a kitten standing in the porch of his old place and since then we got another cat too. Darling Husband LOVES those cats so much. He loves when they snuggle with him, curl up on his lap while playing video games, sleep with us at night or when they are just being cute. He will always say “I love that damn cat” 🙂

Let’s add that the cat was his before I moved in, so I have to love the cat, but I do because she is so stinking cute!

My Fiance built his cat a kitty fort that comes up to my armpit and is about six feet long.  It has feather boas and beaded necklaces and a kitty bed and kitty costumes and kitty toys all over in it, in addition to the numerous toys around the house.  The cat is so spoiled he has his own pet cat.  My cat, Viola, was adopted so he doesn’t flip out as much when we leave for two hours or when we sleep.  That said, his cat turned out to be an un-certified seizure cat, he herds me into the kitchen if I don’t eat on schedule, and he’s super-affectionate and playful.  When I make a kissing sound, he sticks his head out for me to kiss it, and he comes up and puts his paw in my hand when I’m upset.  Of course, he also loves playing with my lingerie.

I am a cat lady and my husband knew that from day one. I warned him way before we even got serious to NEVER make me choose between him and the cats as he would LOSE! I have a cat sactuary and care for over 40 cats. Supposedly Darling Husband is a dog person but the cats adore him and I often find him holding the kitties like babies and cooing at them. God love him, he is even allergic to cats but he takes allergy medicine.
