That really sucks!

Have you seen the dress in ivory though?  If you are stuck with it, you might want to wait and see if you actually don’t mind it.  Some “ivories” are quite white.  My dress is ivory…and it looks white unless you put it up against something stark white.

My dress was ivory too, and unless it was against stark white, it looked white.  It looked white in the pictures.

Yup, what they said! My dress is ivory and I had no clue until I asked.

I would double check.  My dress was ivory.

Oops, I missed your update.  I would go look at it again to be sure.  Since it was their mistake, I wouldn’t settle for less than 100% refund.

Will the dress shop let you see the dress when it comes in and if you don’t like it give you the refund then? You may not hate it as much as you think! Like PP have said, my “ivory” dress actually looked white in both pictures and in person!

I’ll trade! I wish my dress was a darker ivory. In most light it looks white, but I love that dark ivory look.

My dress is ivory too.  Check it out, it could be a “white ivory.”

Oh yes I remember your dress!

Is the white one with holes irreparable?  Could you maybe take it to someone and see about having the holes repaired?  Maybe you could use the $200 from the salon for the repairs.

Whose fault were the holes? Did you sign paperwork or have a receipt stating what you ordered? If they ordered the incorrect item afterwards then it is their responsibility. I would look at your paperwork and see what it says. It is not your fault if they ordered the wrong product.
