I was having that issue too. We went to a bridal show and they were having a special and they said we could just apply it to our already placed/deposited order, so that is what we wanted to do.

Well, yesterday, they were trying to tell me that the prices have changed, so they had to charge us more. I argued very nicely with them and let them know what was told to us at the bridal show and also that I have my receipt from when we placed the order with the lower price and the paid deposit. I ended up getting another $10.00 off, but I had to fight for it. I did it very nicely though, and the cost is still coming out less than the original price. If you have your receipt with everything that you ordered, make sure you let them know and also that you would be happy to stop by to talk to them. Try not to go “bridezilla” on them, but be firm. They should be able to honor the original price, if you have your receipt.

im not sure if there is a deposit somewhere in there that they will get back.  -FI is dealing with it. i have enough stuff to do.

If you have a signed contract with prices listed they are legally obligated to stay with the prices quoted. If they refuse you have legal grounds but you might also remind them of how many people can be reached via the internet and poor word of mouth travels fast…and good word of mouth brings in business. 🙂
