I definitely think this is a sign – you haven’t booked this person already have you? Maybe look into some of the other options – just because those vendors think someone is the best doesn’t mean they are the best for you.

Did you confirm their hours on their website? My bakery has very weird hours and odd days that they are closed. I can never rememeber so I always have to check their website before I make the drive for one of their fan freaking tastic cupcakes.

Also, would emailing them be an option? This way they are able to reply when they are less busy. It is also a good way of gauging how badly someone wants your business. Everytime I have emaield my bakery they have replied within a few hours.

I would say give them one more shot. The first time around, the lady might have answered late b/c she was trying to help other customers. And since the owner wasn’t there, she might have been a little frazzled which you took as snotty. Give them one more try, and if they still give you attitude or don’t answer, find another baker!
