- Wedding: June 2012
Literally! Every single one of them. Naked. Nubs.
- I thought IF you were going to do this, you did it in the late fall early winter. NOT 2 months before they’re going to start blooming. Hell I’ll be lucky if they don’t die!
- I’m sorry but in what insane thought process would you say “Oh we need to top the trees and oh look there’s a wedding on the calendar in 3 months. Now would be the PERFECT time!”
I feel like I should also say that this is not a venue that normally holds weddings but I’ve been in practically constant communication with them so they know it’s happening and it’s small town USA… they know me… wedding or no wedding… they know who I am and that I’m getting married there. The woman who made the decision to do this knows I’m getting married…. there…. in 3 months. I’m trying not to have a panic attack and the logical side of my brain is saying, “Calm down! All that matters is the marriage. Not the wedding.” But I think that the part that pisses me off the most is not only the inconsideration but that I’ve spent A TON of money on things that directly relate to the trees. I don’t know whether to just go with it or try to find something else. FI says that it will be fine. I know he’s right it’s just we’ve spent all this money and if I’d known this was going to happen we could have saved a lot….
Sorry I just had to vent!!!!
