not anymore 🙂

my wedding band stuck out more than my e-ring, and I’m a super detail oriented person so I just could not get over it. I had 1mm of metal added to my e-ring so they would be the same “height.” it was totally worth it. I’ve been wearing my set for over a year now and have been very happy with the decision.

I’m glad you found a band you love. both are very pretty!

Here is mine I knew it would be much thicker than my e-ring b/c of the diamonds I wanted to use.

Yep, mine is much thicker, and that’s how I always wanted it to be! To me, it’s kind of balanced out because the height of the stone in the e-ring is very close to the width of the wedding band. The thick band also holds my e-ring up a little higher on my finger where it fits better.

My band is slightly wider vertically and higher horizontally. I love that is stands out on its own, also with a gap. Your set is great!!! Amazing profile on the wedding band 🙂

I love that detail in the second picture! I’m no help, my e-ring is waaay thicker than the band, like, so thick I didn’t think I’d be able to fit a band under it.

My band and e-ring are each about 3.5 mm, not TOO thick, but thicker than most since the trend is to have a thin band nowadays.

My e-ring band is 1.5mm and my wedding band is 3mm. It was really difficult to convince the jewellers that that’s what I wanted and that it would look fine. My camera’s dead right now, so I can’t take a pic to show them off unfortunately. I’ll try to post a pic later!

the individual strands of the e-ring is thinner, but wrapped together it takes up more finger estate than the wedding band!

@scottishmrs  I really like the look of a really thin e-ring and thick w-band.

@patchy I love term “finger estate” SO MUCH and I love your mixed metal thing you’ve got goin’ on.
