Some Google fun! I’m curious too. Doesn’t seem to be very common so there are very few examples…

uncltredpearl:  I never wore them together, but I grabbed a quick picture of my ERing and original wedding band together. I thought it  might help — hope it does.

My ERing is probably around 2 or 3 mm on the top (I didn’t measure, but am just guessing). My original wedding band is around 5mm.

I’m honestly not sure why I never wore them together. I just never thought about doing it, and DH always liked the band on its own.

I’m not wearing the combo right now, but if you remind me, I will snap a picture when I get home.

Commenting to follow! I have a very thin ering and wondering how it would look with thicker bands.

uncltredpearl:  Probably not what you’re looking for but this is a yellow gold set I wear on occasion…

uncltredpearl:  Thanks! (on both counts — ha, ha!)

The nail color is called “Delight”. It’s from SpaRitual. This was my first time trying that brand, and I really liked it a lot. I may look for other colors from this brand on my next Ulta visit.

I wore my rings like this for a bit, and they were actually pretty comfortable. I liked the look of it, too. I have no idea why I never tried them together before. I think I may switch them out as an alternate set from time to time — all thanks to your inspiration!

I do. I find that it makes my e-ring not look dainty anymore. Just something to think about.

We used to do that back in the 80s/90s. You don’t see it too much now (probably due to the rising price of gold) but it is a gorgeous classic look. I had a tiffany-style round solitaire with a 10mm 18k yellow gold band back in the day 🙂

uncltredpearl:  This lighting is hideous but while I’m still waiting to have the band soldered back to my ering this is a temporary band with my ering. Ering this 3.15 and band is 5mm

uncltredpearl:  What you described will be gorgeous!! I had a much wider band but ended up changing it into a RHR because it was actually too TALL for my ering. A pic:
