I much prefer the thin simple band. That diamond is beautiful!

I always prefer thin bands over wide ones. I think they make the center stone look larger and bring more attention to it.

I think the thin band is prettier.

I don’t normally like thick bands but with that stone the thick band looks really nice. It sort of balances out the stone. If you still think the thick band is more comfortable after trying on a few times go for the thick one- afterall you’ll be wearing the ring all the time for a very long time!

Generally I like the look of thinner bands, although the thick one complements the stone well. Comfort is definitely an issue. My mom chose a thick-band engagement ring but now never wears it because it makes her finger sweat and causes irritation.

Love the thick band – very modern and more unique. I think it actually accentuates the size of the stonemore than the thin one.

@kithunter1210:  i think that 1 looks very elegant and sort of more typically feminine, but i much prefer setting 2 as it looks more contemporary and especially as you mentioned the comfort level of number 2. i’m personally a big comfort over style person, not that number 2 isnt stylish, what i mean is that i wouldnt sacrifice comfort for a particular style even if i liked it (no Louboutins for me lol!)

however, with thicker bands i think you do need to consider what wedding band you would get to compliment your e-ring, and as long as your comfortable with what’ll go with it, then yaaaay! Setting number 2 all the way (but it truly comes down to what you think compliments your style and preferences the most obviously)

LOVE the thin band with the oval..its gorgeous!!

I think theres something to be said for a classic solitaire on a delicate band, its so feminine and pretty!
