We have had a very productive weekend of wedding planning, we had been distracted by house buying and moving, but this weekend we got a few things accomplished
We have a VENUE! It is a golf club that is beautiful (and new) with an awesome event co-ordinator included. They also have an amazing chef, and all our food and drink will be done through them, which makes that so much easier. They are very accommodating and have really embraced our vision for a late evening cocktail party style wedding and reception. The menu looks amazing, and the cost of the venue rental is only $550 dollars!!
We have a decorator, we meet with her this week and she seems great, with competitive pricing and is the decorator highly recommended by the venue event co-ordinator. We saw her work this weekend when we toured the venue (there was a wedding just about to begin when we toured).
We probably have a photographer, we meet with her this week to review pricing, but her portfolio is beautiful.
We also likely have an officiant, we also will be meeting with her soon, but have been told that she will likely be a good fit for our vision for our ceremony, and fits our personalities well!
I can’t believe how quickly it all fell into place, it is so exciting!
