I wish I had known how hard seemingly easy things become. Taking the laundry dowstairs, putting a load in then coming back upstairs is enough to make me want to have a nap.

I never knew what tired was.

I wish I had known that people are either overtly sensitive towards you or completly unsensitive.

How rediculously uncomfortable you can become.

People’s stupid comments. I took someone’s head off after they told me for the third time that the baby ‘better be a boy because ‘everyone knows’ that is what your Darling Husband wants’. On a side note: that person is luck to still be alive.

How gross your underwear can become. Yeah I’m putting that one out there.

@eecuadrado:  Oh gawd I know!!! It’s so wrong that I’m happy you share my pain, but there is no one in real like to sympathize with me, lol. It’s what I imagin men feel like, all knarley and sweaty *blarg*

side story: I picked up a package of panty liners last time Darling Husband and I went grocery shopping, and Darling Husband has no idea about anything female-hygenic related. We get home I put them in the bathroom, Darling Husband looks at me and says “I probably don’t want the answer to this…. but I though since you were pregnant you don’t need stuff like that anymore….. do I want the answer?” “No, no baby you don’t” and we left it at that.

Pregnancy has also made me soooo unexceptable when it comes to spelling, I swear I used to be able to, now I just stare at words and go “okay good enough”

@PoppyH:  Ok, so since it’s been brought up now I need to know…  Is it like discharge-y or sweaty or what?  This is probably something I’ll never have the opportunity to ask again, haha.

@kb7:  haha totally fair. For me, it’s like both, it just feels ‘wet’. There certainly is more discharge, and it’s either we egg-white kind, or the really really ‘watery’ kind. It’s also totally unpredicatble, you’re sitting there in bed all cozy and it’s BAM, I feel like I just wet myself. I also get more sweaty for sure (which makes sense considering the blood volume and the fact that it takes so much effort to do anything). Uncomfortable hot and sweaty. The discharge is worse than the sweatyness. Thankfully there is no real smell.

@FMM:  It didn’t really start happening until my 2nd semester. Know that panty liners will become better than chocolate, but DO NOT buy the scented ones, I did that by mistake and the smell made me nauseated, which is obviously what you need when your KU *ugh* lol. Also I now keep a spare pair of undies in my bag.

I also miss pretty underwear, but they don’t seem to fit properly…….

I wish I knew about all the stomach pains you’d randomly have! I kind of thought you get nauseous at the beginning, breeze on through until you’re big and heavy for a few weeks at the end. SO not the case!

I wish I would have known how much it sucks being pregnant. Everyone always acted like it was such a wonderful experience, but I just felt like absolute poop for 9 months.

No one warned me about the ability to pick up smells better than a bloodhound. I never realized how stinky people were until this new superpower came around.

No one really conveyed to me the exhaustion. Or sciatic nerve pain. Or the fact that there would be a lull of weight quietly piling on and yet you have no “bump” but blobby fatty deposits on the hips, thighs, and waist.

Oh and everyone lied about the nausea clearing up after the first trimester. 15 weeks and I’m still waiting for that to stop officially
