I never expected to be so tired I’d need, not just want but need, at least one nap a day. An extra 3 hours at least but sometimes I take 2 naps and get 5 hours a day. So glad I’m on holiday and can do this. Also I never knew I’d be so so thirsty all the time. I drink at least 2 litres a day and wake up parched!

I wish I would have known how swollen my feet would get! With DD#1 I could not even fit into a shoe 3 sizes larger than my normal size. Now with DD#2 I’m well on my way to that again!!

This is so enlightening! Carry on!

I wish I knew that my entire body would be expanding, not just my stomache. We are talking my breasts, my ribcage, my hips (can you say lovehandles?), my thighs. It is horrible. I feel like a blimp and then I have people who come up to me and say you don’t look huge or that pregnant and I am like thanks…because the rest of me got bigger too!
I wish I knew about the insomnia. Some nights, no matter how tired I am, I just cannot sleep. It is rough!

That my boobs had a chance of actually being smaller than pre-pregnant boobs after birth and breast feeding were over. Whoever said they get bigger LIES!

@PoppyH: I laughed so hard I cried! I was buying post-partum supplies (on Amazon), and my poor Darling Husband was like “Wait, what is an irrigation bottle? And a sitz bath? And Dermoplast? You know what? Nope. I don’t want to know. Don’t tell me!”

I learned this today: If I lean over too much (I was bending to pick things up repeatedly), I’ll throw up in my mouth! Lovely.

@PoppyH: I’ve started calling my underwear “goo catchers” which Darling Husband finds incredibly charming and sexy.

I wish I knew I would lose my filter. Meaning, I just had no patience for anyone’s BS and told them so. My mouth/sass got me in a lot of trouble during the early weeks before I got the “awwww, you’re pregnant” pass.

I really didn’t expect to feel so anxious- so much more than normal 🙂
Also really didnt expect the gas and bloating and the reflux 🙂

God, the acid reflux is so bad! I never used to get it and it just kicked in a few days ago. When will it stoppppp???

@Zittajohn: My mom had that same experience. She was an A before birth, B during pregnancy, and had literally no boobs after breastfeeding. She later had a boob job, but it makes me sad to think I may lose my size A boobs if I have kids. 🙁

@StephieBee: Luckily I was a D! E during and C after! Still considering boob job…:)

@Zittajohn: Holy Moly girl!! I’ll be lucky to have anything bigger than misquito bites after I have kids 😛
