@CorgiTales:  Yeah that bothers me too!

This also bothers me – when a new bee comes on for advice and then just disappears without a thank you or anything!  I get that not everyone is as addicted as us (haha) but a thanks would be nice, or even to know if it worked out or not!

@dance: my brain just exploded. :B thanks! i just tried it out, and while it does take a long time for it to load both windows (and for it to let me type in the HTML pop-up), it works!

@elliestan:  Yeah, it takes a little longer, but it works!  Probably not a good thing for your daily “real life” productivity, but I take no responsibility!  🙂

I agree that it is annoying when people get offended at the advice people give when they asked for the advice in the first place. If you never wanted another opinion then why did you make a post asking for other bees to help? I know that what I (and most bees) have to say is really only to be helpful not trying to hurt anyones feelings.

Post titles in all caps.  I can understand when this is used on the Emotional, Family and Relationship boards – but do you really need to shout about linens?

Anything in all caps, unless you actually should be yelling!

@dance:

You just saved my life! I couldn’t type numbers or special characters on my droid in the normal input box, but I can by hitting that html button. I hated that I couldn’t type properly when on my phone.

@CorgiTales:  That is my pet peeve too.  It drives me nuts when I see someone post a question, then read the replies of the Bees, and then the original poster never returns to the thread.  I realize there is no obligation to do so, but I feel so bad for the Bees that took the time to write helpful suggestions.  Does the OP even read them?  Does she find them helpful?  Who knows?  It’s so frustrating.

I second a delete button and a place where you can delete your account without contacting an adminstrator.

I hate it when someone asks for help finding something like jewelry, shoes, boleros, etc., then after going to all the trouble of looking for several links to help the OP, the OP never responds to the thread again.  If someone makes the effort to help you find something, at least acknowledge with a thank you even if you don’t like anything they found.

@CorgiTales & Neva

I agree completely. Im hangin around the newlywed threads more often than anything… But when someone posts a problem I guess I just want to know that everything worked out!!!!  Specifically with “I wonder if Im pregnant yet” stuff…. Well. If youre gonna check on Tuesday… and 47 people have commented on your post, there is a high chance that on Tuesday 47 ladies are thinking of YOU! Thats the great part of the bee. And though I know you arent obligated to update, it just seems like the right thing to do!

@Chillmer:  I hate it when people bump their posts after only 8 minutes. I’ve seen that a few times.

I dont like it when a  bee responds to a post as if their opinion is the gospel truth and that no other opinion could possibly be right. I also have seen some name calling in some threads which is quite sad really that grown women feel better by calling other people names online.

I agree with all the previous posters who mentioned OP’s not coming back to respond to comments on their own threads. I find it strange! Did they forget? Not care? Wierd!

Mine is when someone tells a person they double posted. No Sh$t Sherlock! Tell me something I don’t know! We don’t have a delete button!
