jannigirl :  I so feel you on the beard thing, especially, as you say, the long ones.  Did they just mosey into the Big City for supplies? Yech. I never found ZZ Top all that attractive.

Some guys do look good in neatly trimmed, short beards.  I had a bf like that once.  Then, summer rolled around and he shaved it off.  Eeeewww. The attraction went right out the window.

And man buns.  Gawd, do not get me started.

I totally agree on previous posters. I hate beards but I also hate the I’m too lazy to shave look. That horrid stuble.

So many men get married these days with stuble.

Not sure if just me, but I can’t stand leggings paired with really big clumpy white sneakers that is seen as dressing up? I have been to bars and clubs recently where groups of 21 year olds are all wearing this exact matching outfit:

missviolet92 : My man got married with stubble!😂Looking back, yeah, could’ve been better (was a little bit too long but we were afraid of a trimming disaster.)  Also he didn’t wear a suit, just a nice sweater and dress shirt.  It was all a super casual elopement, so I guess that’s okay.
Hey, but some men really look better with facial hair 🙂

I love me a beautiful lash like the next gal, but LADIES, it getting to be too much. If you can barely life your eyes and they appear then to be droopy, yeah, too long/ too much lashes. (Lady at the municipal building where I got my marriage stuff I am looking at you.*)

* lovely looking lady if but a tiny bit plain. Not a stitch of makeup or lipgloss, but these 3 inch super long lashes, apparently so heavy she looked like she was falling asleep.

I love leggings so even if they’re not a thing in 5 years I will wear mine every day and bring them back.  What I do hate are the, share if you’re against cancer, or child abuse,  or domestic violence,  posts on fb.  Hopefully, the majority of the population is against all of that.  If you actually care about victims of abuse, or the homeless, or what have you, then log off Facebook and actually go volunteer.   Whatever time you can give is already more helpful then your useless little fb post asking your friends to share that they’re against animal abuse.

– Crop leggings/jeans/anything – they dont make anyone look good and it means i have to shave 1/4 of my leg and i cba for that.

– Rose gold EVERYTHING- i love it, but i think people will wonder why we couldnt decide between pink and gold toothbrush holders and mirrors (fwiw i think jewelry is different – but its when you see a house on instagram and everything is fake marble and rose gold)

– Fake marble interiors – use sparingly people!

– Teens in all sports wear when they arent doing sports, make up like an Instagram model and with a cap on.

Pets as “emotional support” animals. Dude. There are real, highly trained animals out there who genuinely are needed by people with actual, bonafide illnesses and disabilities.

Quit ordering your fake vests (so you can pretend your animal is legitimate) and pretending you are ill. Pisses me off.

cypresstree85 :  Exactly! I have to get them tailored always!!! Even the yoga pants I but…tailored! Are there no short people?! Conversely they aren’t long enough for those that are tall either who are they for?!

I don’t know about five years or that people who have them will be embarrassed, but the tattoo trend will eventually die out.

Man buns (already on the way out I think), pointy/overdone nails, lip injections, fanny packs (didn’t we leave those in the 90’s?), “flossing”, the whole fake overexaggerated “thick” look.  I’m all for embracing thicker body types but the tiny waist/big boobs/huge butt thing is only natural on a tiny percentage of the population. The girls with the huge butts and chicken legs look ridiculous.

weddingmaven :  I kinda doubt it, considering they’ve been going strong for thousands of years 😂

ETA: But I really hope the plain solid line and the overly thin and detailed tat trends end. Because the solid line around your arm looks dumb now, and that super crisp, super detailed crazy intricate black and grey piece will be a smudgy blob in 5 years

Young people coloring their hair gray. It’ll get there soon enough all by itself.

Tattoos. At some point I know they will be out. Hopefully I’ll be alive to see it.

Facebook. A colossal waste of time and a great way to start drama, run by greedy amoral a$$holes.
