Making me happy: after tomorrow I’m done with college, and Fiance is on his way home right now for the next 3 weeks.

Stressing me out:

Work and covering for three different people while falling farther and farther behind.

A Christmas party this Saturday at my house & all the prep that needs doing

The Tiffany’s necklace I want to get for my Mom this year seeing how she almost died, but am not sure I can afford just yet.

My greyhound loosing weight because he’s clumsy, cut his leg, is in the cone and won’t eat with it on cause he’s a spoiled brat.

Making me happy:

The nerdy looks my Dad (boss) keeps shooting me when he walks by my office and sees me killing myself for this place..

The Friday night date I’ve got with Mr. 99 to go see the Zoo Lights

The electric fireplace we’re having delivered, I’ve always wanted one and it will be here tomorrow!

Stressing me out:

– The fact that I fell in love with a cute little house that would be absolutely perfect, but we can’t buy right now because I have a crappy paying (with no benefits, but otherwise decent) job and Fiance is in school. And then I drove by it today and there were four carsoutside with the lights on. ARGH.

– Money money money. For bills, for the wedding, for Christmas presents. We cut way back this year–I’m not going to FI’s family’s Christmas and we aren’t doing any gift exchanges this year, except a small one with FI’s dad/stepmom and their kids. They’re also cutting back this year. Our gifts to them are DIY, one thing from Etsy, a gift basket that Future Mother-In-Law gave us to give as a gift, and one store bought item. We aren’t even getting each other anything, unless you count our wedding bands.

– Work. I like my job, but like I said, the pay sucks and I’m considered part time, even though I work 40 hours a week, so I get no benefits, either. I applied for two new jobs Saturday and already got a rejection from one. Mrgh.

Making me happy:

– Fiance is amazing.

– This delicious red velvet crinkle cookie from Panera.

– My kitty just crawled into my lap, goooooooo.

Stressing me out:

Money.  Because my baby is due in February, and I won’t have met any of my deductible, my OB payments are 385/month for 6 months.  I’m not sure how this is going to work just yet.

Christmas presents.  I am a terrible shopper, and Darling Husband is always fantastic.  Plus, it’s hard to shop on such a tiny budget, due to the aforementioned OB bills.

Making me Happy:

My 9 month old is giving me kisses now, and even though they’re slobbery, I think they’re pretty awesome.

This weekend is my yearly Christmas cookie extravaganza, and even though it’s an obscene amount of work, I look forward to it every year!

Darling Husband will be (hopefully) getting home in an hour and a half.  And tomorrow is date night!

Stressing me out:

MONEY. Ugh. I am trying really hard to be a budget bride, but even with all my corner-cutting and scrimping and living frugally, I am worried. A lot of that has to do with I don’t think I’ll be going into my major for my career, and I’m trying to get into a new career, and in the meantime I have a VERY low paying job with no benefits. Thank goodness I have at least medical under my mom’s insurance for another year!!!

Making me happy:

Pretty much everything else in life 😀

Stressing me out:

Money. Christmas is always an expensive time, but coming off of a wedding and with my DH’s school loans rolling in, we don’t have much savings right now to draw from.

My car, which was hit by an uninsured driver the other day, and we don’t have much money to file a claim with our own insurance and foot the deductible because (see above).

My job. I work at a very small, start-up company, and the future of it is in limbo. I hate the uncertainty.

Making me happy

Christmas. Even though it’s related to problem #1 above and Darling Husband is a grinch, the season always makes me happy. Plus I’m taking some vacation days for family time soon, and I’m going back to our gorgeous ceremony venue with Darling Husband and his parents to see it all lit up with Christmas lights this weekend.

The fact that I finally mailed our thank you’s today. Self explanatory.

Stressing Me Out:

-There’s a rather large zit on my chin that I really want to go away RIGHT NOW.

-Uncertainty and the fact I’m not sure if I’ll have a job next semester.

-Packing (I HATE packing) to move out of the dorms into other temporary housing.

-The fact that I won’t be in a (semi) permenant apartment until next August (since we’re moving states for graduate school)

Making Me Happy:

Many more things than stressing me out, luckily!

-I’ve had an absolutely great first week as a Weddingbee blogger.

-I have a fantastic fiance.

-I just finished my last exam yesterday which means I am DONE WITH MY UNDERGRADUATE DEGREEE!!!

-Now that my undergrad degree is DONE I can actually focus on wedding planning and start doing all my DIY projects I’m really pumped for!

-My sweet younger sister (she’s 2 years younger) made me a scrapbook for Christmas/graduation and collected adorable congratulations letters from everyone important in my life–I haven’t read them all yet, but they’re all so beautiful and make me tear up.

-Christmas is so soon: I LOVE the holidays!!

Stress: It’s snowing a TON (literatly ten inches by tonight) and I have to drive home. That and there’s only 3 hours of daylight, and that’s depressing.

Happy: My husband and I are visiting home for a week in January. We’ll have been gone almost a year; we’re so excited!
