My man and I are headed to the sandals grande in st lucia in october. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we will not have any hurricane issues!
We wanted to know what is the best stuff to do at the sandals resorts, like which retaurants since we can go to any of them.
Also what are the best things to do outside of the resorts.
i would also like info on anything you didnt like or would not do again if you had the chance.
I love details and am looking forward to some first hand advice.

If no one can help you on here, try TripAdvisor. The people on their forums are pretty helpful, and you should be able to find lots of info on the St. Lucia forum. I never go anywhere without doing tons of research on TripAdvisor!

There’s so much to do – take a boat excursion round the island, explore the rain forest by taking a guided tour, go see the Pitons, and head to the world’s only drive-in volcano. I always love to get out of the resort and see what the destination is like – go explore and have fun.

There’s a ton of great excursions to do in St Lucia! St Lucia has bike trails, the world’s only drive-in volcano crater, a working cocoa plantation, and more. It’s a great little island.
Here’s a link to a bunch of excursions that are available on St Lucia.
Have a great trip!

We just got back from the Sandals at St. Lucia! We stayed at the Regency. There are 3 resorts but we didn’t even bother venturing out to the other 2. The food is amazing, you can eat as much as you want! You’re gonna love it. And the drinks are sooo yummy. The staff is really nice too. The resort we were at had great live music every night, they did a talent show night, a kareoke night. The spa there was awesome, we did a couples massage and they gave us free products. They also have a water sports shack kinda thing so you can rent stuff right there and never be too far from the resort.
There are a lot of great excursions to do too. We took the one that brought us around the island in an uncovered jeep. We saw the local towns, the volcanoes, a waterfall and the sulfur pits. So much fun, if you do this- you want Wayne as your tour guide, I loved him. And the ziplining was so awesome! The only thing is, the excursions are almost half the day, so they’re draining! I wouldn’t do too many of them.

Hi! I am also getting married 10/16/10 and we are also heading to Sandals Grande St. Lucia!!! If you get on Tripadvisor.com and type in our resort, people write reviews and for the most part I think booking a tour not through the hotel, but through the guys on the beach is the way to go. I am soo excited!
