I’m looking for something to do with my sister’s vows to make them more of a keepsake as a gift for her. Both she and her husband wrote personal vows that are fairly lengthy, but so personal and moving. Please post any ideas that you ladies have to keep these vows forever since you are all so creative!!

We are having ours done on a marriage certificate similar to a Ketubah or a Quaker marriage certificate. There are lots of vendors on Etsy that sell them and will personalise them however you want!

How about have them printed on a picture mat and put a wedding picture in there? I’ve also seen them printed on a throw pillow.

My post got eaten. . .
I said: Get someone to write them out in calligraphy and frame that. Or get them sewn into a silk pillow. Or incorporate them into a frame around a wedding photo.

I’ve considered using a wordle http://www.wordle.net/ That was the basis of our Save-The-Date Cards.

I designed and framed something myself for our first year anniversary. But if you google there are tons of ideas out there.
I would confirm with your sister too that she’s not planning on doing it for their first anniversary since it’s a pretty popular first anniversary gift idea because of the paper anniversary.

Someone on here I think typed them into the shape of the letter of their last name. Or maybe did his/hers vows with the first initial of their first names (so that the words of the vows made the shape of the initial–I’m not sure if that makes sense).
