People don’t understand how can I like the following (not eating them as a combination but by itself only):

melted ice cream; soggy fries; soda that has lost its spirit; if If I don’t finish a Starbucks drink, I just put it in the fridge and drink it the next day (people tell me it’s gross to drink a day old coffee); if I make my own cup of coffee, it has very little coffee and almost all milk (people say it’s coffee flavored milk and defeats the purpose of drinking coffee); when I make certain dishes and it’s just me and SO, I always put lots and lots of garlic and onions (I would always put way much less on the same dish if I know in advance that other people will be eating it too).

French toast with brown sugar and milk.  Until I later become a Diner waitress I had no idea people put syrup in French toast.

Devil’s food dark chocolate cake with a scoop of plain (not vanilla) Balkan or Greek yoghurt .

I started eating this while I was a Uni. My friends and I found a little cafe that had the option of serving it this way. You could have the cake with whipped cream or plain yoghurt so we thought we’d give it a go. I got addicted to it. The cake was really dark and rich and the plain yoghurt seemed to add a bit of a piquancy to it. It is such a nice combo. Never seen it on a menu since.

It’s not so much what I eat but how I eat it that people have made fun of me: I like to put a bowl of life cereal with milk in the microwave and heat it up so the sugar in the cereal melts into the milk and makes it sweeter.

I add some cinnamon to the milk too- I really don’t like the taste of milk and this was the only way my mom could get me to drink milk as a little kid. Anyway I wait until it’s good and soggy and then I eat it. So good!

Also I like to eat Welch’s gummies but I have to sort them by fruit and color first before I can eat them

My husband and in-laws make fun of me for this one every time. I put ketchup on my chili cheese hotdogs.

ZUCCHINI SPREAD (Kabachkovaya Ikra)

I use ketchup and dill with lots of things

I eat a lot of pickles

I prefer instant coffee to regular coffee at times

I can eat sour cream with a spoon

etc etc..

But I also dislike lots of food other people like such as steak, bacon etc..

I like whipped cream with fresh bread and I eat my pancakes with maple syrup and whipped cream too. I also love chicken nuggets with honey which my SO thinks is weird. When I eat baked goods I drink water instead of milk. I also have to have all my meat really well done or I won’t eat it.

Hmm, I don’t think I have any weird food combos. I like some of the things listed here. I think I’ll try some of the others, too, just because I have the time and our typical things are getting boring. Keep em coming!!

I like to eat dry cereal, always have. Once in a while I will add some soy milk but usually I just like it dry.

It’s not considered weird in other countries, but here in the US, my friends always give me weird looks when they see me eating fries with mayonnaise.

I like to eat tomato pasta sauce right out of the jar with a spoon. I also like mixing rice and green salad together topped with ranch or ceaser dressing. When my husband eats a bowl of cereal he doesn’t drink the leftover sugary milk! To me that’s the best part lol
