My sons eat “Elvis burgers” with the beef patty, peanut butter and bacon. I don’t know whether Elvis ate that, but that’s what they call it.

I can’t think of anything particularly weird I eat, except I like wasabi on cold sandwiches instead of mayo.

Marmite and cheese on toast.

Or marmite and crisps in a bread roll.

Ketchup on scrambled eggs.

Lime jello and cream cheese. You add the cream cheese with a mixer when the jello is half way solidified. Sometimes I add pineapple chunks too. I think it’s actually one of those weird jello mold recipes from the 50s/60s.

AncientAmber :  Sounds like me! I put peanut butter in everything, my favourite is in ham salad sandwiches, but I’ll add it to pretty much any sandwich. It’s great spread in burgers too, especially with sweet chilli sauce!

Also, chips (fries) dipped in chocolate mousse or chocolate sauce, love it!

Classic weird combos that I like are ketchup on scrambled eggs and pineapple on pizza. My fiancé loves to make fun of me for those.

Other weird ones for me are cottage cheese with tomatoes and black pepper, drinking orange juice while I have popcorn, and mayo in grilled cheese sandwiches.

I cut up bananas and put crunchy peanut butter and cinnamon on them. Some people think it’s genius, others think it’s bizarre.

I also eat Vegemite toast with a very thick spread of Vegemite and I don’t mix it with anything like margarine. I like it pure. If I’m not sweating under the eyes when I eat it then it’s not enough Vegemite.

Chilli Doritos dipped in phish food Ben and Jerry’s.

Buttered toast with marmite and thin slices of cucumber is the best!

Dry plain cereal like rice Krispies and cornflakes. I hate soggy cereal.

Weetabix dry with strawberry jam spread on top.

Boiled water with a dash of milk. Like tea without the teabag

While I don’t eat beanut butter with savoury foods, I don’t find it weird at all. Satay is a really popular asian dish of peanut butter-like sauce as meats/veg, so!

I love pickled beetroot abd humous, peanut butter on ritz crackers, crisps (US chips) in sandwiches, insant noodles/rice with tinned tomatoes, instant noodles in pita bread … the only thing I actually eat out of these is beetroot and humous, but the rest have been past weird things that I’d still happy snack on!

Another weird thing is that I really hate pizza and any dish with melted cheese.

1. Chocolate syrup drizzled on a bowl of Cheerios and milk

2. Cookies and graham crackers dipped in orange juice

3. Strawberry jam, cream cheese, and almond butter in place of ice cream or cheesecake

4. Pepperoni and pineapple pizza

-Lentils on toast with mayo

-canned herring straight form the can (my coworkers always tell its weird but since it’s always for sale at my grocery store other people must be eating it too)

oxfordpink :  I love lemons. It makes my husband cringe when I eat them because they’re too acidic for him, though.

tetonlove :  I like jam on cottage cheese – I’ll have to try applesauce!

My only real food quirk is adding hot sauce to almost everything.

My cousins introduced me to Doritos and Peanut Butter as a kid though and I still like that combo.
