Thank you for making this list. I was aware of some of it (so it didn’t scare me TOO much!) but it’s great to have everything listed in one place.

@mommytobee:

@vintage2010:

I did the sweating thing too after Dear Daughter.  I was induced, and got a TON of iv fluids too, so I was super puffy after delivery.  I also slept on towels and changed jammies a lot.

But, I don’t think it lasted much longer than two weeks…

Ugh, I wish I hadn’t clicked on this. I want children but this is kind of horrifying!

@vintage2010:  yes, after birth, for about 2 weeks if I remember correctly. I was hooked up on fluids for over 48 hours, and was very puffy. I sweat it all out in my sleep, I think it’s weird it didnt happen during the day but only when I slept.

it ends overnight.

I ditto everything OP listed. I didn;t have enough nursing bras at first Fi surprised me with two while I was still in the hospital. Which I thought was so cute of him. I could just imagine him at Motherhood trying to choose some bras for me! lol…. But seriously, two was obviously not enough. When I went in to get more. I was trying different types on, well trying to, but then i starting dripping milk onmy shoes! Aghh….. wipe, wipe… not cute.
